EXTENDED HOUSE RULES AT MERRIFIELD HOUSE
Please and thank you for reading and adhering to the following:

No guests under 18 years or additional house guests.

Maximum one vehicle per room.

Please ensure the main/external door to the property is locked on exiting the property.

Maximum one well-behaved dog per room. Please book in advance and pay on arrival (£25 per dog/ per stay - this increases to £50 if not booked in advance). We kindly request that you walk your dog on a lead at all times, exercise them in the designated areas whilst on-site; and always clear up after them. Please do not allow them on the furniture or leave them unattended in the house.

Strictly no smoking, vaping, candles or incense inside the house or in the snug.

Bed linen and towels are provided. However, please bring your own beach towels.

Please use the garden snug area for take away food and dining.

We have a septic tank, so do NOT flush anything down the toilet except pee, poop and paper!

Take care around the ponds and streams.

Feel free to use the seating around the gardens and the outside snug, with exception to the areas marked ‘private’.

This is a quiet countryside valley and noise travels! Please do not play loud music late at night. If you are returning to the house in the evenings, access the grounds and property quietly. Please respect quiet hours which are between 22:00pm and 07:00am.

Respect our home, gardens, surrounding countryside and the neighbouring horses, sheep and cows during your visit.

Anyone displaying unacceptable behaviour or language, will be asked to leave. Refunds will not be given.

Damaged property, lost and unreturned keys will be reclaimed from your security deposit.

On departure day, please check out by 10:00am. Double check you have all your belongings, leave any general waste in the bedroom bin (or external black wheelie bin), place recycling waste in the recycling bin located in the outside snug, lock the external door, and return your key to the key safe.
