FOOD & REFRESHMENTS AT MERRIFIELD HOUSE
Our accommodation is available on a 'room only’ basis (MEALS NOT INCLUDED).
During your stay at Merrifield House, you will find a kettle, teapot, glasses and teacups along with a bottle of water, selection of teas and coffee, sugar, milk (long-life), and a few snacks in your room, so you can make yourself a brew in the comfort of your room.
We also have a cosy garden snug where you are welcome to enjoy a change of scenery, make yourself a hot drink with the refreshments provided and/or collect fresh milk to take back to your room. You also have access to a shared space with comfortable seating, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, crockery, cutlery and glasses. You are welcome to store and eat your own food and drink items here.
We have collaborated with a couple of local businesses to offer you delicious breakfast alternatives; The Church House Inn, our closest restaurant in Churchstow can provide you with a tasty selection of breakfast choices; and Feast Kitchen, an excellent local catering/food delivery company, can deliver a delectable range of freshly prepared breakfast options direct to you during your stay. Feast Kitchen is also able to deliver packed lunches and deli boxes (ideal for picnics, walking the coastal path and taking to the beach), cream teas, afternoon teas and evening meals. In addition, there are two villages stores approx. 1.5 miles away in Churchstow and Aveton Gifford, should you wish to pick up any basic supplies.
