FOOD & REFRESHMENTS AT MERRIFIELD HOUSE

Our accommodation is available on a 'room only’ basis (MEALS NOT INCLUDED).

During your stay at Merrifield House, you will find a kettle, teapot, glasses and teacups along with a bottle of water, selection of teas and coffee, sugar, and a few snacks in your room, so you can make yourself a brew in the comfort of your room.

We also have a cosy garden snug where you are welcome to enjoy a change of scenery, make yourself a hot drink with the refreshments provided and/or collect fresh milk to take back to your room. You also have access to a shared space with comfortable seating, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, crockery, cutlery and glasses. You are welcome to store and eat your own food and drink items here.

We’ve partnered with a wonderful local food delivery company, Feast Kitchen Deli. The lovely Janey prepares delicious, freshly made breakfast, lunch and dinner options, along with deli boxes, cream teas and afternoon teas - perfect for picnics, coastal path walks or a relaxed day at the beach. Our nearest pub restaurant, The Church House Inn, in Churchstow, also offers a tasty selection of meal choices in a traditional Devon setting. There are plenty of other lovely restaurants and cafés nearby, and we’re always happy to recommend local spots for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks or light bites. For everyday essentials, there are two village stores just 1.5 miles away in Churchstow and Aveton Gifford, ideal for picking up basic supplies during your stay.
